This hymn for the feast of Saint Basil the Great (January 1) is from Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi (1969).

Sources

This hymn was included in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as hymn number 54, with ten verses.

In 1969, Father Stefan Papp printed the version with music and three verses given above (Duchovňi Pisňi, page 17). The additional verses, however, differ widely from those in the 1913 collection.
