music (samohlasen)

At "O Lord, I have cried", there are three stichera for the holy martyrs.

Tone 1, special melody Vsechvalnyj mučenicy.  O holy martyrs, the three of you firmly resisted * the cruel men who judged you. * Enduring in faith the harsh trial of torments, * you obtained the Kingdom on high. * Intercede now that our souls be given peace and great mercy.

With spiritual canticles, * let us acclaim Eutropius, Cleonicus, and Basiliscus, * those martyrs who, by grace, consumed in the fire of their piety * the dry wood of the godless. * With their divine radiance, they now illumine the ends of the earth, * having eclipsed all error, like flaming torches.

When you were beheaded, * you crushed the head of the enemy under your feet * which had announced the Good News, * O holy martyrs, sure-guiding stars, * living sacrifices and treasures of the heavenly temple, * Eutropius, Cleonicus, and Basiliscus. * Now ask for peace for our souls.

Glory, now and ever – Theotokion, or Stavrotheotokion

Troparion,  Tone 4.  Your holy martyrs, O Lord our God, * in their struggles, received an incorruptible crown from you. * With your strength, they brought down the tyrants * and broke the cowardly valor of demons. * Through their prayers, O Christ our God, save our souls.
