The holy apostles Jason and Sosipater, disciples of St. Paul in the reign of emperor Nero. They are mentioned in Romans 16:21 by Paul, who calls them his kinsmen. Jason was first bishop of Tarsus, and Sosipater, of Iconium.
The holy martyrs Dadas, Maximus, and Quintillian, at Dorostorus in Moesia, martyrs in the persecution of the emperor Diocletian. (c. 4th century)

Troparion of the apostles, Tone 3. O holy Apostles Jason and Sosipater, intercede with the merciful God * that he may grant our souls forgiveness of sins.
Troparion of the martyrs, Tone 4. Your holy martyrs, O Lord our God, * in their struggles, received an incorruptible crown from you. * With your strength, they brought down the tyrants * and broke the cowardly valor of demons. * Through their prayers, O Christ our God, save our souls.
