The text of this hymn to the Mother of God is that of Father William Levkulic, who also provided an English translation, 'Neath your holy icon kneeling. Another English version, Under your holy icon, was published in the Marian Hymnal (1984).

This hymn was printed in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as hymn number 131, with 7 verses.

The same text was published (in Latin letters) in a small booklet of pilgrimage hymns from the Sisters of Saint Basil in 1974.

In 1969, Father Stephen Papp printed three verses of this hymn, with music, on page 86 of his collection Duchovňi Pisňi. The fthree verses in this edition corresponded to verses 1 and 7 of the version in the 1913 Pisennik, together with a verse from some other source.

The first three verses from the Pisennik were printed in Father William Levkulic's The Divine Liturgy: A Book of Prayer (1978) as hymn number 16, the third of the Marian hymns.

The same three verses, with music, were published in the Marian Hymnal (1984) on page 44.
